HOSPITEN´s General Surgery and Digestive System department deals with the surgical treatment of common illnesses such as those affecting the digestive system (appendix, gall bladder, hiatus hernia, intestinal hernias, obesity surgery, etc.), some glands (thyroid, for instance), using a variety of specialised techniques such as those employed in the Minimally Invasive Surgery department, Laparoscopy department, etc.
