The HOSPITEN Estepona Assisted Reproduction Service  is a center endorsed by the Junta de Andalucia Health Council and our main aim is to provide solutions for those people who wish to have a child and are having difficulty conceiving. The unit is made up of a multi-discipline team with years of experience in the field of assisted reproduction. We offer our patients a personalized, responsible study of their case with individual treatment and the personal touch of all our staff, making it all as easy as possible for them, as well as providing all the information available and the answers to the logical questions that come up about the whole process. Our objective is to achieve a pregnancy in the best possible conditions and in the shortest time possible. 
We carry out techniques such as Artificial Insemination, with husband semen and donor semen (from a semen bank), conventional ?In Vitro? Fertilization (IVF), spermatic microinjection (ICSI), Embryon freezing by Vitrification, Testicular biopsy, Egg donation and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
The decrease in fertility is a problem that is becoming more common these days for reasons affecting society like stress, having the first child at a later age for reasons of work and other habits like smoking.

The reasons for infertility may be:
  Female factors, when it is due to a problem in the woman.
  Male factors, when it is due to a problem in the man.
  Mixed, when both partners have fertility problems.
  Idiopathic, that is, for unknown or primary reasons.
 
On the first visit to the unit, the patient will see a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics. The patients will explain the reason for their visit and we will focus on the period of fertility, personal and family history, the frequency of their sexual relations, and, in addition, they will be given information on how the process is carried out and the tests needed to make a diagnosis and answer any questions.

 The following visits will be to evaluate the results of the tests carried out, to establish a diagnosis and to inform the patients of the technique or treatment recommended to achieve a pregnancy in the shortest possible time.

The HOSPITEN Assisted Reproduction Service offers our patients in Marbella-Estepona, Algeciras, Sotogrande and in general The Gibraltar area, including Ceuta, an individualized study and monitoring program with a warm, personal touch and, of course, complete confidentiality.
