Fundación Ayuda a Corazón de Niño A.C., in alliance with Hospiten Mexico, Amigos de los Niños de Cabo San Lucas A.C., Philips, Terumo, and with the valuable support of the Government of the State of Quintana Roo, proudly announces the start of the second pediatric cardiac surgery day in Cancun, as part of the United Heart Alliance: a solidarity model that unites civil society, private initiative and the best health professionals to save lives.

From October 18 to 28, 2025, the Hospiten Cancun facilities will host this new edition that will offer up to 36 pediatric cardiology treatments, including open heart surgeries, catheterizations and ablations, for children and adolescents in the region.

A model with history, results and heart

The Fundación Corazón de Niño A.C. is celebrating 13 years of uninterrupted work providing hope to hundreds of families in Mexico.

Three years ago, Hospiten Mexico joined as a strategic partner, strengthening the medical and hospital network that today extends its reach to Baja California Sur, Jalisco and Quintana Roo, consolidating a collaborative and replicable model that demonstrates what can be achieved when the will and vocation meet.

A national impact from Hospiten Mexico

To date, the alliance has helped 286 patients with congenital heart disease: 250 in Baja California Sur, 15 in Jalisco and 21 in Quintana Roo. During this journey, the 300th patient is expected to be reached, a milestone that symbolizes the union between medical excellence and human empathy.

If the 36 scheduled procedures are achieved, a total of 322 interventions will be reached within the program United by Heart, 36 of them performed on this second day in Cancun.

Health professionals at the service of Mexican children

More than 50 medical specialists and health professionals from all over the country -45 foreign volunteers, 7 local volunteers and 14 staff members, totaling a team of 64 people-, recognized for their experience, dedication and commitment to life, are participating in this edition of the program.

Alliances that transform lives

Hospiten Mexico is deeply grateful for the collaboration of the Government of the State of Quintana Roo, the State DIF System, the Anahuac Cancun University, Hyatt Hotels, Medical Mission Network, AFEET Quintana Roo and every company, institution and donor that joins this mission of health and hope.

Commitment to health and the community

From its hospitals in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, Hospiten Mexico promotes social responsibility programs that improve access to health, strengthen prevention and promote a more humane, close and supportive medicine.

This effort reflects the group's philosophy: to work for the integral wellbeing of people, taking care not only of their bodies, but also of their hearts.
