Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, January 2023. The Hospiten Group appoints Dr. Mohamed Fariña Molina, who had held the position of coordinator of the hospital's Emergency Department since 2015, as the new medical director of Hospiten Roca.
Dr. Fariña Molina, who graduated in medicine at the Havana Faculty of Medical Sciences in 1995, specialized in anesthesiology at the Hospital Clínico Quirúrgico 10 de Octubre in 2002. He also completed a Master's Degree in Emergency Medicine at the Francisco De Vitoria University in 2020.
The new director will take over from Dr. Edmundo Marin, who, after more than 36 years at the hospital and more than a decade as medical director, is beginning his retirement.
Hospiten Roca expressed their gratitude to Dr. Marin for his valuable work as medical director, his hard work and dedication over the years, during which, in addition to his professional legacy, he has left an enriching mark at a personal level on the entire medical team.
