Hospiten officially inaugurated its hospital facilities in Puerto Vallarta on July 7 of this year to provide the best service to all residents and visitors seeking quality, innovation and technology at the highest level with the distinction of a comprehensive and specialized treatment.
At the inauguration was attended by the Director of Regulation of Health and Medical Care of the state of Jalisco Dr. Rigoberto Astorga; the Delegate of Tourism Ludwig Estrada Virgin; Federal representative Luis Ernesto Munguía, and also Dr. Pedro Luis Cobiella Suárez, Chairman of Hospiten Group, Juan José Hernández Rubio, Chief Executive Officer of Hospiten Group, and Diana Cobiella Beauvais, Director of Hospiten Group.
The Director of Regulation of health and Medical care of the state of Jalisco, Dr. Rigoberto Astorga highlighted the importance of Puerto Vallarta already having a hospital of international quality that supports tourism and the local population. "Puerto Vallarta will open its doors to all visitors who want to come to the destination to carry through some surgical treatment since it has hospitals of the first level such as Hospiten".
On the other hand, Federal representative Luis Ernesto Munguia thanked the directors of Hospiten for investing to grow in Puerto Vallarta such an important brand. "We thank Hospiten for investing in Puerto Vallarta and generating jobs and providing a first class service for the citizens of Vallarta and tourism in general."
In the words of the Chairman of the Hospiten Group Dr. Pedro Luis Cobiella: "It is a great satisfaction for me to inaugurate this center which represents another step in our process of growth and consolidation in the Pacific coast of Mexico, a country in which we are present for fourteen years and in which we focused a large part of our international expansion.”
With this inauguration, Hospiten Group intends to contribute to developing the health coverage of Puerto Vallarta with emergency services, hemodynamics room, intensive care unit, diagnostic imaging, computerized axial tomography, radiodiagnosis, next-generation ultrasound, laboratory and more than 15 medical specialties. In addition, this hospital has a total of 30 beds for hospitalization, including 5 intensive care therapy, 4 of neonatal intensive care therapy and 2 of pediatric intensive care therapy; 3 operating rooms, 6 emergency rooms and 21 medical offices.
As part of its policy of international expansion, the Hospiten Group is present with medical-hospital centers in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and in Mexico it has facilities in Cancun, Riviera Maya, San Jose del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.
