Thanks to the agreement reached between the two entities, students doing a Master's Degree in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing with the European University of the Canary Islands will be able to do their practice at any of the group's hospitals.

The European University of the Canary Islands and the Hospiten Group signed an agreement of collaboration that will enable students from the healthcare sector to do curricular practice at any of the hospitals belonging to this international hospital network, present in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica, in Tenerife and Lanzarote.

Thanks to the agreement, students on the Master's Degree in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing course at the European University of the Canary Islands will be able to choose from among four hospitals in the Canary archipelago: HOSPITEN Bellevue (Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife), HOSPITEN Sur (Playa de las Americas, Tenerife), HOSPITEN Rambla (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife) and HOSPITEN Lanzarote (Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote).

The signing of the agreement coincides with the start of the Master’s Degree in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing course, an officially recognized qualification that begins its first edition in the Canary Islands, having been available for a number of years in Madrid and Valencia.

The act was attended by Carlos Diez de la Lastra, General Manager of the European University of the Canary Islands and Juan Jose Hernandez Rubio, CEO of the HOSPITEN Group. Both men spoke of the relationship between the two entities, which began work on a joint project in 2009 whose aim was to provide students at the Canary institution with the very best in training and with a practical, international approach from the moment the institution opened its doors.
