Hospiten activates a free video consultation service

The Hospiten Group seeks to improve its response capacity and assistance to its patients through telemedicine and video consultations


In parallel, the 24-hour emergency services, hospitalization, ICU, outpatient clinics, operating rooms, laboratory, and radiodiagnosis are kept at full capacity.


On May 5th, 2020, The Puerto Vallarta Hospiten Group has activated a video consultation service for the care of its patients, free of charge during May, to solve health concerns and facilitate contact with specialists.

In parallel with this initiative, the Hospiten Group maintains its essential services at full capacity for the daily operation of all its centers, such as 24-hour emergencies, hospitalization, ICU, outpatient consultations, operating rooms, laboratory, and radiodiagnosis.

The video consultation system, aimed at patients with a medical history in Hospiten (that is, Hospiten patients), will allow video consultation with the specialties of angiology, gynecology and obstetrics, general surgery, cardiology, and internal medicine, being able to resolve doubts about the evolution of illness, treatment, medication, results or request for diagnostic tests, requesting an appointment through the usual telephone number of his hospital, which will provide the patient with the link to access the video consultation by email.

Also, free of charge for patients with a medical history at Hospiten, internal medicine video consultations may be requested to resolve doubts about symptoms and recommendations related to COVID-19, as well as aspects of general medicine. To access this service, you will also be contacted through the usual call center of the hospital.

This video consultation initiative seeks to keep the care of its patients active and provide an adequate medical response in health matters by its professionals.

The video consultation is operational at Hospiten centers in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Los Cabos in this sense, patients will be able to make connections from their home via a computer, tablet, or cell phone.

This platform is secure since it is integrated into the Hospiten citation process, guaranteeing secure communication between professionals and patients, complying with the highest level of protection.
