Hospiten Montego Bay participates in a solidarity race in support of access to education

Posted on 23-05-2017

The race aims to raise funds for the more disadvantaged people in the area.

Last May 7, the Hospiten Group, through its center Hospiten Montego Bay, participated in the annual solidarity race MoBay City Run, whose aim is to raise funds to provide access to education for the more disadvantaged sectors of the local population.

Hospiten contributed to the race with twenty participants from different services and departments of the hospital and by providing a courtesy ambulance to cover the event.

Since the first race, the MoBay City Run has become an important sports event on Jamaica’s north coast and on which Hospiten has decided to collaborate as part of the group’s corporative social responsibility policy.

Since the year 2008, Jamaica has become a priority destination for the healthcare group, where they currently have a hospital in Montego Bay, a medical specialist center in the Port of Falmouth and 16 ambulatory health centers, under the brand name Clinic Assist, located in the different tourist resorts on the island and at Montego Bay airport.
