The Hospiten Group, chaired by Pedro Luis Cobiella, has received the certificate that accredits the recognition of its commitment to quality during a visit that the Councilor for Employment, Trade, Industry and Economic Development of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Efraín Medina, made to the facilities of Hospiten Rambla.

Likewise, Efrain Medina took the opportunity to thank Hospiten for its collaboration with the Tenerife Quality Observatory and highlighted the Group's effort for its continuous improvement and its contribution in promoting the culture of quality on the island of Tenerife.
Among the reasons that have made Hospiten Rambla recipient of this distinction, it is worth noting its facilities and high technology, in addition to the development of cutting-edge specialties such as cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, cardiology and interventional angiology, and that of others that represent a whole novelty, such as minimally invasive surgery.
The Hospiten Group is a private hospital network of international character with more than a thousand beds, committed to providing top-level healthcare services that attends annually more than one million patients.
Proof of this is the certification of all Hospiten centers according to the strictest regulations and international standards in quality and environment, such as International Standard UNE EN ISO 9001: 2015 and UNE EN ISO 14001: 2015. In this way, in 2015 the group obtained the renewal of the EFQM 400+ seal for European Excellence, issued by AENOR and awarded by the European Quality Management Foundation, which distinguishes those organizations that base their strategy on excellence in all their areas.
