Tenerife March 22, 201:.- Cajamar Tenerife Bluetrail 2017, a mountain race organized by the Tenerife Island Government and to be held on June 10, and the Hospiten Group held an informative talk yesterday, Tuesday 21, on diets during ultra distance races. The event, held at Hospiten Group Head Office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, was directed by Dr. Jose Alejandro Medina, a specialist in internal medicine and nutrition, and was attended by more than fifty people.
During the talk, ‘What diet should I follow to prepare an ultra distance race?’, Dr. Medina addressed different aspects related to the guidelines of eating, hydration and supplementation to safely prepare a long distance race.
This talk is the second organized by Cajamar Tenerife Bluetrail 2017 and the Hospiten Group after the recent talk by Dr. Alejandro de la Rosa, specialist in sports cardiology at Hospiten Rambla.
