Guillermo Conde, Hospiten physician, nominated for Best Urologist in Spain at the Doctoralia Awards

The specialist, who is head of minimally invasive techniques in urology, accepts the recognition as a further incentive to consolidate urology as a pioneering specialty within the healthcare group.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, November 24 2016: Hospiten physician, Guillermo Conde Santos has been nominated in the Urology category, for the second year running, for the Doctoralia Awards – awards for the best medical specialists in Spain voted for by patients and professionals.

Dr. Conde is a specialist in urology, andrology and pelvic floor. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgery and laparoscopic surgery on prostate and renal cancer. In addition, he was the pioneer of laser treatment for benign prostate growth.

The criteria taken into consideration in choosing the most notable medical specialists is based on the opinions of patients, focusing on care received, punctuality and facilities and the votes of the candidates’ peers according to professionalism, experience and career.

The contribution of doctors nominated to the patient community was also taken into account based on their participation in the Doctoralia ‘Ask the expert’ service, in which doctors respond to patients’ questions about diseases and other health-related topics.

Highly esteemed prizes in the medical community
