Hospiten Lanzarote offers a free first visit to the dentist for parents and children making an appointment
Through initiatives such as these Hospiten continues in their line of contributing to making the public aware of the importance of dental health starting from an early age with prevention as the most effective measure to avoid problems in the future.
On Friday 27 and Saturday 28 March, staff belonging to the healthcare group were at the Deiland de Playa Honda Shopping Center to attend consultations, give advice on prevention and to hand out dental care samples to the more than 100 people who visited the stand.
Furthermore, as part of the campaign, Hospiten is offering a free first dental consultation to all those making an appointment by calling 928 596 100, and for children that includes a dental seal, a technique that helps prevent future tooth decay in the areas most at risk. In this way the aim is to remind parents of how important it is to make the child feel confident and safe when visiting the dentist and to supervise their children when brushing their teeth until they are about 6 – 8 years old.
To offer advice on how to maintain good oral hygiene in children and to teach children about how to prevent some of the most common dental problems, like tooth decay or bite problems, is the aim of the prevention campaign the Hospiten Group has developed in Lanzarote and which includes free consultations.
