Hospiten Clinica Roca San Agustin celebrates their 25th anniversary at Fitur, making them a reference in private medicine in Gran Canaria.

Hospiten Clinica Roca San Agustin have come to the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) to celebrate their 25th anniversary and to advertise the wide range of services they offer, which have contributed to making the hospital one of the best private centers in Spain today.

The president of the Gran Canaria Island Government, Jose Miguel Bravo de Laguna, and the CEO of Hospiten Clinica Roca San Agustin, Cristina Roca, presided at the Gran Canaria stand a commemorative act at which they spoke about the improvements and extensions made at the center over the years and through which, in the last three years, the hospital has been listed in the TOP 20 of the best hospitals in Spain in its category “Private Hospitals”, thanks to their results in quality and operations.

Jose Miguel Bravo de Laguna stated that the hospital in the south of Gran Canaria “enriches us and adds value to the island”. Furthermore, he congratulated the management of Hospiten Clinica Roca and encouraged them to continue their work collaborating on the development of tourism on the island.

For her part, Cristina Roca explained that the incorporation of Hospiten in 2001 to Clinica Roca has been “a huge support for the center in that it has enabled us to grow and consolidate our position as a center of excellence in healthcare in a large tourist destination”.

Also present at the event were the Councillor for Tourism with the San Bartolome de Tirajana Town Council, Ramon Suarez, and the CEO of the Hospiten Group, Juan Jose Hernandez.

With a total of 84 beds, three operating rooms and a 24-hour Emergency Room, Hospiten Clinica Roca San Agustin has state-of-the-art technological means to carry out diagnostic tests and to develop innovative treatments enabling them to become a center of excellence for the residents of Gran Canaria and tourists choosing the island as their holiday destination.

In addtion, the continuous quest for improvement at the center has, in recent years, enabled the center to complete their offer with the opening of an outpatients’ area with a team of professionals of renowned experience and knowledge.

Aware of the importance in matters of health of the right preventive measures, this private center carries out, annually, more than 250 campaigns and free talks for schools, institutions and collective groups thus contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the people on Gran Canaria.
