Miguel Concepcion and Pedro Luis Cobiella signed the agreement in representation of Tenerife FC and the Hospiten Group at the club’s offices, under which the international Tenerife group will provide medical services for the ‘Blue and Whites’.
As from next week, Tenerife FC players will have all their medical check-ups at Hospiten Rambla, the time and place of which will be announced beforehand, and, throughout the season, all tests scheduled by the club’s medical services will be carried out at the hospital facilities.
The Hospiten Group has 16 medical-hospital centers located in the Canary Islands, on the Costa del Sol, in Madrid, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica, which is proof of their prestige, quality and excellence in the healthcare sector, in addition to having a major sports trauma unit at Hospiten Rambla. The agreement signed includes the Hospiten brand appearing on the first team’s training strip, on publicity supports on the HRL Stadium pitch and at the ‘Mundialito’ training ground, as well as on display panels at both sites, in addition to the main page of Tenerife FC’s website and the corresponding medical reports publish on the website. The Hospiten Group has taken the firm decision to support Tenerife FC irrespective of the category in which the team is playing – fortunately, this season returning to professional football.
The president of the ‘Blue and Whites’, Miguel Concepcion, stated ‘we consider this agreement to be a step forward and upwards in terms of quality in health care for the team, in the treatment and prevention of possible mishaps that may come about during the long season ahead with ten months’ competition and more than 40 official games. We are very satisfied to be working with this prestigious group, and appreciate the effort they have made to support and stand side by side with this, our very own team.’
For his part, Pedro Luis Cobiella expressed his great satisfaction and pride at the agreement that brings the Hospiten Group even closer to sport and, particularly, to the most important team.
‘These days, in which everyone is working in different sectors on prevention to make the public aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, doing sport and eating a balance diet, we are joining one of the island’s icons representing all these values’, added the head of Hospiten.
