On Friday, June 8 the 'IV Pediatrics Conference' was held at the Hotel Silken Atlantida in Santa Cruz de Tenerife - the 4-hour conference was attended by about 170 people. The event was inaugurated by Dr Pedro Luis Cobiella Suarez, president of the Hospiten Group. The aim of the conference, directed by Dr Maria Asuncion Gaspar, was to advise parents on how to act in the case of a child having an accident and on how to prevent accidents in children.
The conference, aimed at parents, those in charge of children and professionals in the field, covered the following topics: burns, knocks and falls, poisoning and road accidents, was informative and practical to help prevent accidents and to know what to do the moment they happen.
