Hospiten Sur will provide an ambulance, a doctor and a physiotherapist during the competition days, in which 32 athletes will participate, some of international stature
The Hospiten Group collaborates one more year in the celebration of the VIII International Meeting of Combined Athletics Events 2018, a sporting event in which 32 athletes from the disciplines of decathlon and heptathlon will meet in the Tenerife municipality of Arona.
The manager of Hospiten Sur, Rafael Martinez, and the Councilor for Sports of the Town of Arona, Juan Sebastian Roque, closed the sponsorship agreement for this international competition to be held on June 2 and 3 at the Antonio Dominguez Athletics Stadium, in Playa de Las Americas. The medical director of Hospiten Sur, Tomas Febles was also present at the act.
Once again the hospital group will provide the necessary medical services during sports events, such as an ambulance, a doctor and a physiotherapist.

With this initiative, the Hospiten Group continues its commitment to sports activities held in the Canary Islands, especially in those of great importance, such as the VIII Meeting of Athletics Events that will bring together athletes from different countries, both in the men's category and the feminine category.
France, Estonia, Portugal, Belgium, Croatia, Great Britain, Portugal, Brazil, Ireland and Spain will compete in the decathlon disciplines (men's event consisting of four races, three throws and three jumps); and heptathlon (female test comprising three races, two jumps and two throws).
Among the athletes competing in this international event is Frenchman Romain Martin (with a personal mark of 8,138 pts), Ruben Gado (finalist in the Heptathlon Indoor Track World Championship), or Canary Athlete Jonay Jordan.

Also participating will be the current Under 18 World Champion, Spaniard Maria Vicente, who also holds the record of the Under-18 World Pentathlon indoor track.
