The Hospiten Group takes a new leap in its innovation strategy and incorporates the first three digital magnetic resonance machines in Tenerife and Lanzarote - state-of-the-art equipment that helps improve patient experience and provides better quality mages.
The three new, fully digital pieces of equipment (Philips Inginia Prodiva 1.5 and Philips Ingenia HP 1.5 T), for Hospiten Sur, Hospiten Rambla and Hospiten Lanzarote, give improved experience in clinical tests and medical specialties thanks to technological developments which provide intelligent data on how the body is functioning and can, therefore, give a rapid, non-invasive, accurate diagnosis. The new models are also designed to obtain high-quality images in complex areas like neurology, skeletal muscle, breast and oncology.
The new systems stand out when compared to conventional MRI in that there is a better lit and more ample space for the patient, between 70 – 110 cm wider, and the time needed for preparation and carrying out the procedure is reduced. The new equipment is also less sensitive to restless or nervous patients, avoiding the need to repeat tests.
This new system represents an important advance in image diagnosis since the results are more accurate, provide more information and mean that tests take considerably less time. That means the process is shorter, more precise and less stressful for the patient.
