Last Thursday, at the Club Oliver in the island’s capital city and on the occasion of our 50th Anniversary, we invited leading members of the Canary press and news media to a meeting with Dr. Pedro Luis Cobiella, president of the Hospiten Group.
After an emotional speech by the president of the group in which he thanked all the Hospiten team for their commitment and dedication and in which he recalled the founder of the group, Dr. Celestino Cobiella, Juan Jose Hernandez, CEO, spoke of the trajectory and expansion of the group since its beginnings in 1969 with the opening of the first hospital in Puerto de la Cruz to present day, with more than 20 centers in different countries, 1,200 beds, an average number of patients surpassing 1,700,000 a year and over 4,000 employees.
