Four Hospiten Group centers - Hospiten Lanzarote, Roca and Estepona and MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid - have been awarded top BSH-Best Spanish Hospital Awards, in the first edition of the prizes, in which 80 hospitals from all over Spain took part.
These awards recognize hospital excellence based on more than 230 indicators of efficiency, adequacy and quality of care at the participating centers, in different categories and services. The event was organized at the headquarters of the Spanish Society of Health Managers (SEDISA) in Madrid, where 43 public and 37 private hospitals were represented.
The objective of these awards is to promote clinical management, aimed at the continuous improvement of public and private Spanish hospitals and one of differences in this case is that all participating centers will receive detailed information on their results in the categories analyzed, which will allow them to identify those areas that can be improved or enhanced.
“For the Hospiten Group, the fact that external entities value the work that Hospiten does in quality of care and management to offer the public the best health services possible is a great incentive,” says Juan Jose Hernandez, CEO of the Hospiten Group.
Hospiten Estepona received the top BSH - Best Spanish Hospitals Awards® in the Musculoskeletal System, Kidney and Urinary Tract, Circulatory System categories and awards in Digestive System and Hepatobiliary System and Pancreas as well as in Overall Results.
Hospiten Roca obtained awards in the areas of Infectious Diseases, Respiratory System and Circulatory System, while Hospiten Lanzarote obtained two awards for Nervous System and Musculoskeletal System.
