las Palmas de Gran Canaria, December 10, 2022. Hospiten Roca is once again working with the Elomar Association to deliver personalized Christmas gifts to the children associated with the organization. It is a donation that will also cover other basic needs like the purchase of special foodstuffs or toiletries.
Hospiten has been collaborating with the Elomar Association since 2015 as part of its corporate social responsibility policy, which aims to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable with actions that directly benefit them.
With Hospiten's donation, Elomar Association children will receive new, personalized gifts, since they have each conveyed their own wishes to the families.
This collaboration also allows the Elomar Association to purchase foodstuffs that are more difficult to access, like products for people with diabetes, celiac disease or food intolerances. They also try to cover toiletries, such as soap, shaving foam and intimate hygiene products.
The Elomar Association, founded by married couple Eloisa Hernandez and Marcelo Santana, is a non-profit entity that depends on the Las Palmas Food Bank. It distributes food, while also trying to cover other basic needs. The association serves approximately 1,300 people in collaboration with the Department of Social Services of the San Bartolome de Tirajana town council.
The Hospiten Group is an international healthcare network with over 50 years of experience, committed to providing the highest quality service, and which has 20 private medical-hospital centers in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Panama and more than 100 outpatient centers under the brand Clinic Assist.
