In 2025, Hospiten México has solidified its role as a key player in expanding access to pediatric cardiac care in our country. Through its alliance with Ayuda Corazón de Niño, we’ve been able to extend our mission to Baja California Sur, Quintana Roo, Jalisco, and now Puerto Vallarta—bringing hope to hundreds of families.
Since August 2023, Hospiten has opened its doors and its heart, making it possible to carry out four surgical missions that have transformed the lives of 71 patients. This year, we celebrate an incredible milestone: our 250th heart surgery, a symbol of a healthier future for Mexican children.
Thanks to this collaboration, and the support of partners such as Amigos de los Niños de Cabo San Lucas, Terumo, and Philips México, we’ve achieved the following in 2024:
• 406 pediatric cardiology consultations
• 145 pediatric check-ups
• 450 echocardiograms
• 10 fetal heart scans
• 24 Holter heart studies
• 300 electrocardiograms
• 15 cardiac ablation treatments
• 1 pacemaker implantation
• 27 therapeutic catheterizations
• 15 open-heart surgeries
With just three surgical missions this year, we successfully delivered 58 treatments, covering 55% of the annual need in Baja California Sur and 12% in Quintana Roo, with a 100% survival rate.

Purpose-Driven Expansion: Child Health in Mexico
The national expansion of Ayuda Corazón de Niño would not be possible without the true commitment of Hospiten, which has proven to be much more than a healthcare institution. It is a socially driven company that is opening real paths to high-specialty medical care—free of charge—for children who need it most.
Hospiten has played a key role in making this social impact model work—a model that unites the health sector with civil society, generating a multiplying effect in the lives of hundreds of Mexican families.
The Neonatal Heart Screening Has a Child’s Heart
In the realm of public policy, we are also making progress. In alliance with the Mexican and Latin American Committee for Neonatal Cardiac Screening, we have trained nearly 1,000 healthcare professionals in several states across the country and launched a national model for neonatal screening. We also held the first Comprehensive Screening Campaign in Baja California Sur, which will benefit more than 135,000 children every year in Mexico.
