Bring the Hospiten Menina to life

The Meninas are an icon of universal art, immortalized by the Spanish painter Diego Velázquez in his 1656 masterpiece. This painting, regarded as one of the most significant works in the history of art, has transcended generations and borders, becoming a symbol of creativity, identity, and cultural evolution.

In recent years, the Meninas have been reinterpreted as a form of contemporary artistic expression, serving as canvases for creativity and the communication of values. In this context, and as part of its ongoing process of image and institutional values renewal, Hospiten is launching the Internal Hospiten Meninas Contest. This initiative aims to encourage the creativity of our staff, strengthen their sense of belonging, and project the values of our new corporate identity.

This initiative is especially meaningful at a key moment for the organization: the opening of our new hospital in Madrid in 2026. The winning Menina will not only symbolize our values, but will also be displayed in Madrid at this new facility, representing the talent and identity of the entire Hospiten team.

Take part in the contest: submit your design proposal by June 30, and we will announce the winning Menina on September 1.

  • Create a sketch on paper or in digital format.

  • The final sculpture will be exhibited on the streets of Madrid and in the new Hospiten Madrid Boadilla hospital.

  • The winner will also receive a miniature Menina and a tablet as a prize.
