Hospiten inaugurates a new hospital in Mexico

The hospital is located in Los Cabos, offering medical services for the resident population and the many visitors to the area, and represents another step forward in the company’s international expansion policy.

The Hospiten Group has inaugurated, after a full renovation of the building, a new hospital in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, on the Pacific coast of Mexico, where the group has been present since more than a decade ago with other centers in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, thus taking another step in the company’s international expansion policy.

With this new hospital, the healthcare group aims to contribute to developing medical coverage in Los Cabos, offering services for the resident population and visitors to the area. For that reason, Hospiten San Jose del Cabo offers 24-hour emergency services, hospitalization, intensive care, surgery, image diagnosis, CAT scanning, radiodiagnostics, ultrasound, laboratory and outpatients’ with more than 15 medical specialties.

At the inauguration, the president of Hospiten, Dr. Pedro Luis Cobiella, said that “with some 45 years’ work behind us, every day continues to be a challenge for all the professionals making up Hospiten - always working to improve and starting every new project with the same spirit of innovation and achievement as on the very first day. To provide a guarantee of medical care has always been one of our main goals, contributing as far as possible to the growth of those places were are present in”.

With this opening and the imminent beginning of works on the construction of a new hospital in Cabo San Lucas, the Hospiten Group reinforces its position as a reference in providing high-quality medical-hospital services.
