Cardiovascular Surgery is the medical-surgical specialty responsible for treating heart and large vessel diseases through surgical procedures. It deals with conditions requiring repair or replacement of cardiac or vascular structures, in both adults and pediatric patients, in coordination with the Cardiology department.

Common Conditions Treated

  • Valve disease (repair or replacement
  • Ascending aortic aneurysm
