Canarias players Juan Pedro Gutierrez and Blagota Sekulic, who landed on the island yesterday after playing for their respective national teams, Argentina and Montenegro, in the World Cup qualifying tournament in Caracas and in Eurobasket in Slovenia, underwent the programmed pre-season medical check-ups first thing on Friday morning at Hospiten Rambla.
The tests took place in the Cardiology Service facilities and included routine blood and urine tests, a stress test, an echocardiogram and an electrocardiogram. It should be recalled that the Hospiten Group is now the medical sponsor of the Tenerife club for this season. Both Juanpi Gutierrez and Blagota Sekulic will gradually join the rhythm of the group’s pre-season with a specific initial plan to adapt to the return to work.
