Both centers were included in the IASIST Top 20 for the balance in results in various areas and processes analyzed, in both quality and efficiency.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, November 24 2015: Hospiten Sur and Hospiten Roca, in the south of Tenerife and in the south of Gran Canaria respectively, have been listed among the Top 20 best hospitals in Spain using the IASIST Program (healthcare services information company), through a survey in which 155 public and private centers took part voluntarily.
The Canary healthcare group’s centers that achieved awards in this, the 16th edition of the awards were Hospiten Sur in the category of medium-sized private hospitals and Hospiten Roca in the category of small private hospitals for having achieved a better balance in their results for various areas and processes, both in the quality of the care provided and suitability of, for instance, their economic efficiency.
The awards were announced at a ceremony in the Reina Sofia Art Center in Madrid last Tuesday. The president of Hospiten, Dr. Pedro Luis Cobiella accepts the awards as “the recognition of the work of the group over several years to become a reference in private healthcare and they represent a milestone on the path we have followed to achieve excellence in management and health care”.
