“After 50 years of hard work to improve health, I do not want to miss the opportunity to thank all the medical specialists and nursing staff for their dedication and work every day and, in general, to all those who have been part of this project and that have contributed to making Hospiten today synonymous with quality and international prestige. And thanks to all the patients who choose us and who trust us year after year, allowing us to grow”, he said.
Since its beginnings, the Group has established itself as a reference in health care for the population and has become increasingly specialized with the creation of specific units led by experts of recognized international prestige. Especially noteworthy are areas related to minimally invasive surgery, neurosurgery, traumatology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, the sleep unit, endoluminal surgery, gynecology, or cardiac electrophysiology, among others, where they have been pioneers in the development of techniques and treatments that place Hospiten at the forefront of medical innovation.
New challenges
Pedro Luis Cobiella points out that one of Hospiten's objectives is to strengthen its expansion in Latin America. However, the Canary company has also begun to study business opportunities in the Middle East.
Among other plans, Hospiten will focus its investments on the acquisition of state-of-the-art technology for its centers, in addition to reforming and extending infrastructures.
A year to celebrate
