Posted on 26-07-2022

The works will improve patient experience, facilitating efficiency in the processes and optimizing patient time during their visit to the department

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, July 26, 2022. Hospiten Bellevue University Hospital has renovated its Emergency Room to improve and modernize its health care, adapt the flow of the service to achieve better operability. The changes will favor organizational aspects and will reduce waiting times.

The ER facilities are open and operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. On arrival at the center, patients are classified according to the type of emergency. We have a resuscitation cubicle, with capacity for advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, fully equipped to attend the patient immediately and a 4-station aerosol room, which allows patients requiring IV treatments or aerosols on a temporary basis to be located in a different area.

In addition, the facilities include a medical office, a nursing station and a total of 4 cubicles, which allow more complete, faster care for the patients, as well as an observation area consisting of 7 beds. A new, rapid consultation room where minor emergencies will be dealt with in the shortest possible time, in order to achieve better flow and efficiency in the service.

Likewise, the Radiology Service is located on the same floor as the Emergency Department, so any radiological tests required can be carried out in a timely manner.

The decision to improve the Emergency Department is part of the series of actions carried out by the Hospiten Group to renovate its facilities and provide better care for patients who attend the center.
