The Hospiten Roca and Hospiten Estepona centres have received recognition at the BSH-Best Spanish Hospitals Awards, listing them among the best hospitals in Spain.
The two centres, Roca and Estepona, won the award for Best Hospital in the Hospital Costs Category. Meanwhile the Hospiten Sur University Hospital and Hospiten Estepona were also nominated as finalists in the Maternity Care Category.
In the words of Pedro Luis Cobiella Beauvais, Vice President and CEO of the Hospiten Group, “these national awards, which position the Hospiten Group Hospitals among the best in Spain, are a further indication of our constant effort to ensure the best quality medical care and good management practices”.
He went on to emphasise the “dedicated work of all our professional staff, without which it would be impossible to maintain the level of excellence that has made us worthy recipients of this recognition”.
The event is organised by the Higia Benchmarking Consultancy and ASHO, the leading company in hospital codification, with the participation of 143 public and private hospitals.
These awards are designed to acknowledge hospital excellence based on an analysis of over 250 indicators of efficiency, quality and suitability of medical care, with the aim of promoting continued improvement in clinical management at public and private hospitals.
