Nephrology is the medical specialty responsible for the study, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney and urinary system diseases, as well as the regulation of blood pressure, electrolytes, and body fluids.  
   
 In our hospital, we offer comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic kidney disease, including conservative treatment, dialysis, and transplant preparation.

### What to Expect During Your Visit

The consultation includes blood and urine tests, blood pressure monitoring, and specific tests for kidney function. Depending on the disease stage, a conservative treatment or access to therapies like dialysis or transplantation will be planned.

 Monographic consultation for hypertension and diabetic nephropathy. Hospital and outpatient dialysis unit. Kidney patient education and transplant preparation. Coordination with nutrition, cardiology, and urology. Medication management for polymedicated patients.
