In October of this year, the healthcare group opened what would become Jamaica’s first private hospital with an Intensive Care Unit outside of Kingston. HOSPITEN MONTEGO BAY initially featured 22 hospitalization beds, seven emergency cubicles, two operating rooms, a delivery room, outpatient consultation rooms, and imaging diagnostic equipment.

It is a hospital that has grown significantly in recent times due to the demand from the capital’s residents, highlighting services such as minimally invasive and highly complex surgery, cardiac surgery, medical oncology, neurosurgery, hemodynamics, and endoluminal and endovascular diagnostics and therapies.

In Playa de las Américas (Tenerife), the Playa de Las Américas International Health Center was inaugurated, currently known as the Hospiten Sur University Hospital, aimed at meeting the healthcare demand in the south of Tenerife.
