Hospiten once again joins the "Canarias Masterclass" initiative, an innovative pre-university orientation project that offers fifty students selected from among more than 2,400 enrolled, the unique opportunity to share a working day with professionals in the sector they are interested in. This experience allows young people to immerse themselves in the reality of the profession they wish to pursue, ask all their questions, receive valuable advice and experience first-hand the professional reality.

The president of Hospiten, Juan José Hernández, and the president of UD Tenerife, Sergio Batista, signed this Monday at the headquarters of the leading hospital group in the Canary Islands the renewal of the sponsorship agreement for another season, establishing an extraordinary relationship between the two entities that will be ten years old this year. With this signing, the island club and Hospiten reaffirm the hospital group as the official medical service of UD Tenerife. The prestigious network of hospitals will carry out, for the tenth consecutive season, the pertinent medical check-ups for the blue and white team, as well as a complete follow-up of possible injuries that may occur during the course of the season. Hospiten will also sponsor the communication of medical reports. As an outstanding novelty in the agreement for this 24/25 season, Hospiten will insert its corporate image on the front of the official Costa Adeje Tenerife game jersey. The hospital group will also continue to be present on the technical and medical staff's kit, on the first and second team's training clothes and on the walking clothes worn by the players, as well as in other places, such as on the travel bags used by the players on their official transfers. Hospiten and the CB Canarias Foundation have reached an agreement so that the prestigious network of hospitals will continue to be responsible for the Foundation's official medical services; an agreement that responds to the hospital company's objective of supporting and promoting its commitment to social projects, within the framework of creating an ecosystem of well-being for all those around it.

One of the most advanced solutions for people suffering from severe ankle joint problems is the implantation of ankle prostheses, an alternative technique to conventional surgery and conservative treatments. La Laguna Tenerife and Hospiten have renewed the agreement so that the prestigious network of hospitals will continue to be, for the twelfth consecutive season, responsible for the official medical services of the Tenerife club in the Endesa League and the Basketball Champions League. As a result of the agreement, this year the Hospiten logo will appear on the right trouser leg of the official ACB kit of the first team and on that of our team recently promoted to the FEB Third Division. The players of the Aurinegras squad will begin, starting on August 16 and divided into several shifts, the appropriate medical tests prior to the official start of training sessions 24/25, at the Hospiten Rambla University Hospital. The Hospiten Rambla University Hospital has an important Sports Traumatology and Cardiology Unit, which will be able to treat or prevent any possible setbacks that may occur during the season. Both entities are also committed to carrying out joint social and sports activities, as has been the case in recent seasons. Hospiten has 20 medical-hospital centers in Spain (Canary Islands, Malaga, Cadiz and Madrid), the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Panama, which undoubtedly highlights its prestige, quality and reference in the health sector.

Hospiten participated in the XLIX Scientific Conference organized by Hospital Paitilla, a Panamanian hospital that is also part of Hospiten, held on July 18 and 19 at the Las Americas Golden Tower hotel in Panama City. The event, which focused on innovation in Health Sciences, brought together medical professionals, students and other healthcare workers with the participation of Dr. Walter Plasencia and Dr. Carlos Blanco-Soler.

On July 19, the General and Digestive Surgery Service of the Hospiten Sur University Hospital held a conference on E-TEP/TEP-RS laparoscopic repair of ventral hernias. The conference, directed by Dr. Fernando Estevez de la Rosa, general and digestive system surgeon at the center, was attended by Dr. Juan Bellido Luque, assistant surgeon at the Laparoscopic Unit of the Virgen Macarena University Hospital in Seville and surgeons from the General and Digestive System Surgery Service at the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
