Hospiten will participate for the first time in the My Baby and Me Fair, to be held on November 8 and 9 at IFEMA (Madrid). The aim of the hospital group is to reinforce its commitment to families in the perinatal stage and its vocation to offer comprehensive maternity care.

The Hospiten Sur University Hospital and Hospiten Lanzarote, with the aim of improving their energy efficiency and the environment, have been awarded grants from the Department of Ecological Transition and Energy of the Canary Islands Government for the promotion of photovoltaic generation in anthropized spaces, within the framework of the Sustainable Strategy in the Canary Islands, under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Component 7, Investment 2).

On the occasion of World Melanoma Day, which is commemorated on May 23, Hospiten warns of the difficulty of detecting suspicious skin cancer lesions in patients with tattoos. Although they are increasingly common and have a significant aesthetic component, tattoos can have little known health implications, including making early detection of melanomas and other skin cancers more difficult. In addition, tattoo ink often contains chemicals that can cause allergic and inflammatory reactions, and in some cases, even the development of tumors such as lymphoma.

This link between Hospiten and CD Estepona is renewed for the 2024/25 season, so that the hospital group will be the official medical service of the team that plays in Group IV of the Second Federation of Spanish soccer.

Hospiten incorporates advances in surgery for uterine prolapse through an examination that can determine the cause of the pathology and thus determine its seriousness and assess the patient's muscular strength. Dr. Jose Carlos Bello Perez, gynecologist at the Hospiten Sur University Hospital, points out that, within the field of medicine, pelvic organ prolapse occurs when "the ligaments of the pelvic floor are stretched and become weak, generally caused by advanced age, vaginal childbirth, abdominal efforts and menopause".

The Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa and Hospiten reinforce their commitment with the sponsorship, by the hospital group, of the match this Saturday, November 16, against Valencia CF, which will be played from 11:00 am at the Municipal Stadium of Adeje, corresponding to the 10th round of the F League. The match, which will be the first to be played by the taronja club after the DANA suffered by the Valencian Community, will have a marked solidarity character in benefit of the population affected by the episode of last October 30.

November: It's time to Prevent - Hospiten joins in raising awareness during Men's Health Month, a campaign focused on promoting prevention and comprehensive care of men's health.
