The president of the Tenerife Island Government met with the president of the Hospiten Group, Pedro Luis Cobiella, and with workers of the group on a visit to the company’s new offices next to the Island Government building
The president of the Tenerife Island Government, Carlos Alonso, visited the Hospiten Group in the Tenerife capital to see the new offices of the company on Avenida Maritima, next to the Island Administration building.
During the visit he met with the president of the Hospiten Group, Pedro Luis Cobiella, and discussed, among other things, the hospital activity of Hospiten, characterized by the group’s international presence, with over a 1,000 beds and attending over a million patients a year.
Afterwards, both presidents met with workers from the head office to chat about current affairs on the island. At present, there are approximately 3,500 workers in the Hospiten Group at their different centers in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica.
Pedro Luis Cobiella thanked Carlos Alonso for his visit, which he considers an acknowledgement of the important healthcare work carried out over more than 45 years by Hospiten and their professionals for the people of Tenerife, making the group a reference for quality in the sector. Furthermore, the president of the Group recalled the importance of the Group’s absolute endorsement of the integration of the most vanguard techniques, combining a commitment to continued education and the constant quest for excellence to continuously improve their portfolio of services.
