Hospiten Roca is launching a new Maternal-Fetal Medicine Unit, as part of the process of expanding the Gynecology and Obstetrics service promoted by its head, Dr. Carlos Blanco-Soler. This new unit will be under the supervision of Dr. Anna Erenbourg, a specialist with extensive experience in prenatal diagnosis. According to Dr. Blanco-Soler, "there are very few professionals with the training and experience of Dr. Erenbourg, so her incorporation represents an important added value for the healthcare services that Hospiten Roca makes available to mothers-to-be in the Canary Islands".

Hospiten is making progress in the treatment of combined aesthetic surgeries after pregnancy to improve and recover the figure of patients. The aim of these surgeries is to correct the after-effects of pregnancy, mainly in the abdomen and breasts, with the application of comprehensive techniques.

Hospiten is expanding its Angiology, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery service in Lanzarote and Tenerife, with the aim of improving the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of diseases of the circulatory system, thus consolidating its position as a leader in the healthcare sector.

Hospiten has launched a new corporate web portal with the aim of facilitating access and navigation for patients. The new web site offers a more intuitive and accessible design, improvements in the private patient area in the desktop version and a new content manager.

After a year of constructive dialogue and negotiation, Hospiten and the UGT and CCOO unions have signed the new Collective Labor Agreement applicable to the personnel of its four hospitals in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife: the Hospiten Bellevue, Hospiten Rambla, Hospiten Sur and Hospiten Tamaragua University Hospitals, which will be in force for three years (2024-2026) and will affect more than 1,500 of the company's workers.

Hospiten incorporates arthrocentesis as the least invasive solution to treat disorders derived from the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ). This joint, which connects the jaw to the temporal bone of the skull, could be treated with a minimally incisional surgical procedure that reduces tissue damage and improves recovery of the area.
